The Story
In 2016 with the help of my father Joe Helberg, I built Diesel Exhaust Services to serve the North Bay’s trucking industry with the latest generation computer diagnostics along with the relentless work ethic of my dad’s generation. Growing up on the bench seat of a ten-wheeler, I’ve seen the importance of getting your truck back on the road, and pulling all-nighters in the shop is how I was taught the value of hard work.
At Diesel Exhaust Services our mission is to be there for the last-minute thrasher emergencies you may have, but most importantly helping you schedule a service plan to eliminate the costly downtime. We strive for the quickest turnaround times with the highest quality work.
If it was up to me the roads would be ruled by Narrow Nose Peterbilts, but today’s trucks are more complicated than that, and that’s why we’re here.

Located in Cotati, CA, we are easily accessbile for any sized vehicle and have the shop to cater to any unique needs your diesel truck may be experiencing.
